This ½ day course covers the responsibilities and details of product marking for an Ex manufacturer.

We’ll cover CE marking requirements and responsibilities and how to build an Ex label / nameplate and what makes up the elements of an Ex “mark”.

This course is suitable for those working in technical, quality and certification departments for Ex manufacturers, contractors or Notified Bodies.

How will I benefit?

The learner will gain an understanding of what goes into CE marking a product, such as the EU Declaration of Conformity and what it means. We will look at the Ex marking and labelling and the requirements of the ATEX directive and IECEx 60079 standards.
